This is always my favorite post of the year. Posted below are all of the babies I had the privledge of photographing this year. They are listed in no particular order!
The year has been tough for everyone, but especially for those who had babies this year. I know how hard it has been because I'm one of them. Everything "normal" about having a baby was turned upside down. It was a crazy, uncertain, horrible time to have a baby. Despite this, we have all persevered and I have to think this has just made us all stronger.
I want to personally thank every single family who has trusted me with your baby (or babies) in 2020. I knew I was going to take three months off for maternity leave this year. What I didn't predict was a worldwide pandemic. Because of all of this, I was afraid my business would suffer. Life has been so uncertain, and I cannot blame any parent for being weary of taking their baby out in a pandemic.
However, despite everything, I have had more newborn clients this year than ever before. I was able to purchase my studio, which has allowed me to expand to not just newborns, but older babies up to a year old. I now have the space I have always dreamed of having.
I hope everyone who came to see me this year felt safe, and comfortable. Thank you, thank you, thank you for supporting me and helping me grow. I couldn't have done it without you.
I want to celebrate all of these 2020 babies! It hasn't been easy, but we got through the year! Happy New Year to all of you, and I look forward to the 2021 babies!
